Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items allow players to increase the level of equippable items such as weapons or armor, as well as trinkets up to a certain amount. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.

Requirements

There is no viable solution to the "not worth" feeling some players have when upgrading certain items. Ideally, the game would provide more details about the upgrade in its compare interface, such as "X stats gained and X stats lost." But, this is not practical to implement because of how complex is the process of comparing. There simply isn't enough space in the UI to implement it correctly.
A script that tests the requirements for upgrading an item prior to allowing the item to be upgraded is an alternative solution. This is a great option for systems that have a limited number of upgradeable items and a simple upgrade dependence. item upgrader can be upgraded from Sword+1 to Sword+2. Upgrade components can be put into weapons, armor and trinkets. They can also be attached to gathering tools. Most upgrade components can only be replaced by an Upgrade Extractor. The only exception is glyphs. They can be salvaged by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage tool.
Depending on the kind of item, upgrading it can cost Dilithium or gold. In addition, some upgrades require Flightstones or crests. The amount of Flightstones and Crests needed to upgrade an item is determined by the level of the item. Blizzard also sets a maximum upgrade level. Upgrading to the highest upgrade level can be costly especially when you're upgrading PvE gear.
Upgrades can also alter a weapon's ammunition or damage die size. They can also change the special characteristics of a weapon, such as its unwieldy or operative property, or hand requirement. Certain upgrades can even alter a weapon's appearance.
While boosting stats is the main goal of item upgrades, you should consider the cost of upgrading an item prior to making a decision. You might prefer to use your gold to upgrade rare items, but don't spend it on common or magic-tier items. The upgrading of these items wastes precious resources, and you'll soon discover that rare gear is superior to them.
